We ship only to the continental US. All our orders are shipped on Monday. Any order received after Monday 1:00 PM will be shipped on next Monday (Tuesday if holiday). In the week before Christmas and Easter, we will be shipping on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday if the delivery date is Friday. Delivery dates are calculated from the date of shipment. Please check the Time-In-Transit estimates below for UPS Ground Shipments from our bakery in Enfield, CT.

Ground shipping delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. If you would like your order to arrive on a specific date (weekdays only), select 2nd Day or Next Day Air shipping.

Packages are delivered Tuesday through Friday only, holidays excluded. Products in the package will be frozen or fresh, depending on availability (Kielbasa always fresh). The product will be shipped in an insulated box but it might defrost during shipping. It is still safe to use. All food items are guaranteed safe to use if delivered in the same week (up to 5 days).

We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

Please note that Pierogi Queen Bakery / Old Country Deli and UPS will not call prior to delivery. We strongly advise you to make the recipient aware of your purchase.

We ship all orders without requiring a signature for release; if no one is available to sign, UPS will leave your order at the door without requiring a signature. However, we strongly recommend that someone be present to accept delivery and place the products in a cooler as soon as possible. If you’re sending a gift, please notify the recipient that a perishable package will be arriving. Pierogi Queen Bakery / Old Country Deli cannot be responsible or liable for deliveries where the customer is not available to receive the order.

We ensure that customer information collected on our Web site is to be used for informational purposes only and is not sold or otherwise transferred outside our company. This information is collected to help us better understand our customers and communicate special products, services or promotions – for our internal purposes only.

We use email addresses to send our customer’s special promotions or product information. If you wish to not to receive these email announcements, please send an email to info@theoldcountrydeli.com with the word “unsubscribe” in the subject field. Please allow 1-2 weeks for your request to be processed.

Billing and shipping information is collected to better fulfill orders. If there is a question concerning your order we may use the information to contact you.

Pierogi Queen Bakery / Old Country Deli reserves the right, at any time, to add to, change, update or modify this privacy policy. Pierogi Queen Bakery / Old Country Deli will notify you of any material addition, change, update or modification by posting it on the site. Any such addition, change, update or modification will be effective immediately.

This policy is effective as of (01/01/2019).

RETURNS

Because this is a food product and Pierogi Queen Bakery / Old Country Deli has no control over handling, long-term storage conditions, or preparation methods, there are no additional or returns.
Damaged items / late delivery / no delivery

If the product you ordered arrives damaged, please send us a picture of the product/box (keep the box if UPS needs to examine it) and we will promptly file a claim with UPS and ship you a replacement product or return your credit card charge after claim payment by UPS within five to 10 business days.

If the product has not been delivered or is delivered late and the food is unsafe to use, we will send you another shipment promptly.

Event tickets will be refunded only with 14 days prior cancellation.

 DEPOSITS

Deposit for parties: Price represents DEPOSIT ONLY, not total hall rental price. Balance is due 3 months prior to the event.  Deposit is non-refundable if cancellation or change of date is requested less than 240 days prior to rental date.

Deposit for weddings: Price represents DEPOSIT ONLY, not total hall rental price, which is paid in installments.  Deposit is non-refundable if cancellation or change of date is requested less than 320 days prior to rental date.
